Welcome to this site which is dedicated to the exploration of Chinese Dance. Each day as Education grows more and more progressive, children are taught to communicate in ways some of us never could have imagined. A question remains: how do we keep alive in children, the culture they are from?
All dancers and dances here are affiliated with the Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association. The Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association (or CCCCA) has a Chinese School and Community Activities on Sundays at the Solon High School. The Chinese School has language lessons as well as Arts and Culture Classes. One of the most known of these classes is the Performance Troupe managed by Yin Tang and Hua Lee. They work closely with other Instructors of the Chinese School to bring a comprehensive educational and culturally enriching program to the students and audience members in and around Cleveland.
To tackle the question posed above, the Instructors teach different styles of dance. Not only do they teach basic techniques of traditional Chinese dance and historical dance, they also teach unique dance styles from the different geographic regions of China.
